More Babycakes!!!

So, today I was reading my daily fix of The Pioneer Woman blog and she has a post all about babycake mini treats!!!

Image my surprise to learn that there is not just one babycake cupcake machine (which I have), BUT also a donut, a cake pop, and a moonpie babycake machine!!

I so want to try them all out, especially the cake pop machine! She has a giveaway for all 3 babycakes and I entered! I hope I win...then I think I will have to open a babycake business! LOL!

Baby Cakes Update

I got a BABYCAKE machine for Christmas and if you remember my previous post about this...I was super excited to try it out!!!!


It comes complete with the babycake machine (much like a waffle maker), cutters, frosting bag and tips, plus book with instructions and recipes!
All I had to add was the cake mix! This time I chose a strawberry cake mix with cream cheese frosting!

You mix the cake as directed and pour into the small 8 cups in the babycake machine. Close the lid, and bake til done!

I had fun decorating them and they are super cute and quite tasty! If I was taking them somewhere, I would have done a better job on the frosting.

I am looking forward to trying it out with other cake mixes, muffin mixes, brownies, etc!!

OMG!!! I found the most awesome thing today!! We were flipping through catalogs at work this afternoon and I turned the page to this item and it was fabulous!!!

Babycakes Cupcake Maker......I found it in this catalog but they do have it at JCP for $29.99!!!

I want one, I want one!!!! I know I should wait til Christmas but I need it before then to do some Holiday baking!!!
I am going to order it for myself!!! Just think of all the fun things you could make with it.....cupcakes, brownies, appetizers, pancakes, etc. OMG!! I am so excited...can you tell??!!??!!

Time to share!!

I'm so excited to have this new blog up to share our crafts with each other (and the world!).  I always try to remember to take pics of my projects before they are given away, and now I have a place to put those pics.  I've finished a couple of projects recently, however I cannot post the pics yet, as they have not been given to the recipient yet. 

And can you believe it??  I mailed off a hat for my new niece (born just this morning) and I forgot to take a picture!!!  Maybe her mama will send a pic of the baby wearing the hat - that would be a better picture anyway.

I know what I can post!  I went over to my sister's place the other day to help her make cupcakes for her daughter's 4th birthday.  We made (she mostly made, I helped a bit) Dora and Diego cupcakes.  I think she found the pattern on the Disney website.  She sent home a couple of Diego's for my two boys to eat after lunch.  Here is the picture I took before they devoured them.  (The one on the left had a hair malfunction when it got too hot and the chocolate melted a bit.  He looks a bit more like a Beatles member, if you ask me.)
